But there is 'The Isaak Walton League of America' which includes:
a Board of Directors; a Charity Watchdog Rating: a History; a Mission; a
Fish Kill Advisory Network; an Outdoor Ethics Program; an IWLA Credit Card;
Matching Gifts; Shop Online; and At Least 5% Benefits IWLA.
It's one of the curious sensations of being English, not only is our
historical culture dead but it doesn't even belong to us anymore. We are a
non-people, ghostly inhabiting our remnants. Oh to be Scots, Welsh, Irish,
anything but this .....

(from the King and I)
Music by: Richard Rogers
Book and Lyrics by: Oscar Hammerstein II
Whenever I feel afraid
I hold my head erect
And whistle a happy tune
So no one will suspect
I'm afraid
While shivering in my shoes
I strike a careless pose
And whistle a happy tune
And no one ever knows I'm afraid
The result of this deception
Is very strange to tell
For when I fool the people I fear
I fool myself as well
I whistle a happy tune
And ev'ry single time
The happiness in the tune
Convinces me that I'm not afraid
Make believe you're brave
And the trick will take you far
You may be as brave
As you make believe you are
You may be as brave
As you make believe you are
While shivering in my shoes
I strike a careless pose
And whistle a happy tune
And no one ever knows I'm afraid
The result of this deception
Is very strange to tell
For when I fool the people I fear
I fool myself as well
I whistle a happy tune
And ev'ry single time
The happiness in the tune
Convinces me that I'm not afraid
Make believe you're brave
And the trick will take you far
You may be as brave
As you make believe you are
Thought it was something ghastly of that kind. It doesn't even work (for
me). My taste in musicals runs to Berlin, Porter, Kern (_Showboat_, my
favourite together with what I know of _Sweet Adeline_ :~ "Some girl is on
your mind" etc)& Gershwin, then I begin to gag a lot of the time, though
_Pal Joey_ is OK & I have a sneaking fondness for _The Pyjama Game_
(Her-nando's - hideaway!) _Sweeney Todd_ is great, but a musical?
