I had better repeat that my Cat Poems and Kitten Poems
pamphlets are available free from me if you send me
a snailmail address. I have sent out a few to mailing-list
readers but if anyone is in touch with Ivy Garlitz or
Elizabeth James please tell them I ned an address.
(I always print too many deliberately delighting in
having loads of spare copies for friends.)
On the Web the Cat POems go from strength to strength
having their text hit the most times ever at 470
last month which is the highest ever. But the KItten POems
have never made my top 50 files. The Cat POems have had
five years to achieve this popularity whereas the Kitten
POems only started appearing last year. I ask everybody
whether the KItten POems are inferior in quality to the
Cat POems which is my underlying feeling and I am told
no. To me they certainly lack in pure poetry.
The Cat POems are at
http://www.bath.ac.uk/~exxdgdc/poetry/library/ca1.html
and the Kitten POems at
http://www.bath.ac.uk/~exxdgdc/poetry/library/kh1.html
I think most people print off copies. Around 16 pages.
But do ask if you want the actual pamphlets with cover
photos of cats.
And the three-legged cat that lived opposite me till they
moved away was nicknamed Pegleg in the neighbourhood.
She was a very lively cat. Into everybody's house.
