I like the scansion here (of the couplet, I mean) - it reminds me of
that limerick
There once was a man in Japan
Whose poetry never would scan
When told is was so
He replied, yes I know
But I always try to get as many words in the last line as I possibly can
It certainly diverted me! I had to read it out loud.
