I was just looking at Jill's delicately balanced & unblinkingly focussed
"Beach Picnic" & noticed that one of those footnote 1s instead of a
'(apostrophe) has survived in the line "she's laid out". The other poem,
"Influences" is so different, Jill, but very *you at the same time as it
seems to be evoking the ghost of Mauberley. Great.
I'm beginning to think I missed my vocation (never had one, sigh) as
proof-reader.
