I wouldn't say Alison Flett is derivative of Tom Leonard, for a start she
doesn't use Glasgow dialect. I'd agree about her ear though, but perhaps
we'd better leave this to Robin Hamilton (?)

I dug out Foil and read Alison Flett. She is a competent poet
bearing comparison with Tom Leonard, although derivative from
him. I am reminded of the old Scots poet writing his poem
in English then translating it into Lallans for publication.
But Alison Flett has an accurate ear for language, which
is what she is about.
