I wont comment on Robin's problems but will ask him to
explain about Donald SAunders' Glasgow Diary. I used to
know Donald quite well.
And my remaining memory of Hamish Imlach is of him
dancing about the stage with Billy Connolly in the
Great Northern Welly Boot Show at the EDinburgh Festival.
I have never bought a CD of Hamish and will have to check
my list of LPs to see if I have anything.
And as for 'hairy marys' I was thinking about that yesterday
and decided it must come from 'Hail Mary' cos we used to
call the hunchies (from Notre Dame) that.
