I would add something to the 'naff' definitions (so to speak). In usage it
is not really a vehement word, rather the sort of thing one uses when not
wanting to encounter something, i.e. 'I think that's 'naff' translates as
'not my scene'. A tic of a word, rather than a cry for blood. It's tone is
casual.
I feel sorry for using it.
Meanwhile Man Utd have just scored 3 in five minutes against the Villa with
15 mins to go. Damn!!!
