So marijuana is readily available all over the place in Europe these days I
am hearing...is this true? I know all about Holland. But lately I've heard
reports from Portugal, Switzerland, and Spain (well, Barcelona, which is and
is not Spain if you know what I mean) that there are shops where it is
openly available. Germany has relaxed prosecutions of distribution and
possession? And I read a story months back that in London (was it?) the
police were going to refuse to enforce marijuana laws? Can any of you
across the Atlantic confirm or deny these bloodshot rumors? The info about
shops in Barcelona and Swiss is very reliable but I have no grasp of context
or anything...the sort of thing American newspapers don't talk about.
