Josephine, I won't spend much time on this: the prejudice here is
upsetting; it's about as well-informed as Pauline's notorious remarks
on Aboriginal cannibalism. Or are you writing press releases for
Phil Ruddock? I suppose refugees are so much cuter when they're far
far away and we don't have to worry about them. Seems to me that
it's the government - putting out its hand to the One Nation vote -
which is the major agent for splitting the community. Can you tell
me why asylum seekers are a priori criminals? The world is quite a
big place you know, not everyone is "master of their destiny",
especially those in resource-rich third world countries which
interest the West.
