Aston Business School is situated at the heart of the UK’s second city and has an
established record of academic excellence (RAE 5), a thriving research culture and
strong demand from well-qualified students for its range of undergraduate, Masters
and post-experience courses (QAA 24 out of 24).
Following a successful recruitment campaign earlier in the year, there are now
further opportunities within the Operations and Information Management Group for
suitably qualified and motivated individuals. Candidates should have an interest in
one or more of the Group’s research areas: Technology and Operations
Management; and Management Science (Performance Management and Knowledge
Management). Candidates in the latter area with an interest in Information Systems
are especially welcomed.
All candidates should have, or be close to obtaining, a PhD. Lecturers should show
the potential to pursue and develop high quality international research and
publication. Senior Lecturers will be expected to have a well-established track record
of excellent research of international standing. At both levels a commitment to good
quality undergraduate and post-graduate teaching is expected.
