Interesting Pete, I have always suffered with this problem and therefore,
like many colleagues, have to write everything down. My answer these days is
a Palm Pilot - it used to be an enormous filofax but the PP is small enough
for a handbag, it is a diary, address book, memo pad and if you buy a flash
one you can access emails etc. plus you can synchronise it with your pc.
Dictaphone's are not cheap and you may find that a PP is more versatile and
comparable price.
As for memory and stress - I don't know I have forgotten......
