Sorry for dropping in so late. My computer was on strike...
I am:
Nuno Sacramento
Lives in Glasgow and Lisbon
Currently works as a PhD researcher on contemporary curating ( ubiquitous
curating ) at the School of TVI, Dundee University.
Project description:
Brighter Brights and darker darks: a new canon of display attempts to find a
new curatorial paradigm.
From the fusion of (theoretical) curating, exhibition design post WWII and
edutainment the project will develop an exhibition/display concept to be
adapted to multiple platforms in the likes of grid computing and wireless
comunication.
The touristy fruition and the new role of the audiences, museum architecture
and e-tecture, the artist as LOGO (Basquiat/Levis, Diesel/Bourgeois), the
colonising of new visual landscapes, adaptive museology and search engines
are elements which will be addressed in order to create new interfaces for
"ART'S" dissemination.
The creator (responsible author), the work (interactive and reproducible)
and the public (active agent) will be the main players of the game: from the
mapping and cartography of Africa to the swarming the World Wide Web.
