k note from distant place - I would imagine that you already have this but
- would strongly suggest contact with SCF-UK emergency and food security
units - I know they have been following this - and also WFP OHA - direct
contact by phone with these 2 office initially woudl give good contact -
there was also the wonderful peice in te economist which referred to the
loss of agricultural subsidies in malawi - in line with the mail below as
opposed to themore technical related failures of information it may be a
nice idea this tme roed to start with the decision makers and their policies
instead -
