POSTDOC POSITION: QUANTUM-ATOM OPTICS
-------------------------------------
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position on the
theory of 'Quantum atom-optics in Bose-Einstein condensates' in
the group of Dr. Amichay Vardi in the Department of Chemistry,
Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer-Sheva, Israel. The position
is open starting September 2002, and available for one year with a
possible renewal for another. We study the dynamics of atomic and
molecular quantum-degenerate gases, with particular interest in
quantum-field effects and the generation of nonclassical matter waves.
For recent research information see: A. Vardi and J.R. Anglin,

have a Ph.D. degree in physics or chemical-physics and have a strong
theoretical background in quantum optics, atomic and molecular physics,
statistical mechanics or condensed matter physics. Applicants are requested
to send an application (cv and list of publications) and arrange to have
three letters of reference sent by email to Dr. A. Vardi at
