Invited speakers will include:
V. Aquilanti (Perugia)
J. L. Bohn (Boulder)
J. M. Doyle (Harvard)
C. H. Greene (Boulder)
D. J. Heinzen (Texas)
P. S. Julienne (NIST)
J.-M. Launay (Rennes)
F. Masnou-Seeuws (Orsay)
G. Meijer (FOM)
G. A. Parker (Oklahoma)
W. C. Stwalley (Connecticut)
B. J. Verhaar (Eindhoven)
Modern methods for producing cold and ultracold molecules present many
challenges to theory; the meeting will focus on the new problems and on
the theoretical methods that are being developed to deal with them.
The meeting will encompass methods such as buffer-gas cooling, beam
deceleration and resonant processes and photoassociation in cold atomic
gases. Collisions involving cold atoms and molecules and the problems
of forming, cooling, and trapping cold molecules will be central to the
meeting.
