Dear Colleagues,
this is the first announcement of the
38th Symposium for Theoretical Chemistry
25 - 29 August 2002
Bremen, Germany
on: Electron Transfer and Femtosecond Spectroscopy.
The annual Symposia on Theoretical Chemistry are organized in turn by
different Theoretical Chemistry research groups in Germany, Austria and
Switzerland. This year the meeting will be organized by the new Bremen
(formerly Chemnitz) group, in particular by Michael Schreiber and Ulrich
Kleinekathöfer.
The conference language continues to be English, i.e. all invited talks and
the book of abstracts are in English while contributed talks and posters
may be either in English or in German.
The conference subject "Electron Transfer and Femtosecond Spectroscopy"
shall be covered by 12 invited talks, but there will be also some invited
talks on other topics like "Linear scaling quantum chemistry methods" and
"Bose-stimulated chemistry in a Bose-Einstein condensate".
Contributed talks and posters from all areas of theoretical and
computational chemistry are welcome.
For more information please consult the conference website at:
