University College London, UK
A Ph D studentship is available in the group of Professor David
Clary to develop new quantum methods for performing calculations on
the chemical reactions of polyatomic molecules. The studentship will
start on 23 September 2002 and will last for three years. The
studentship is financed by the Engineering and Physical Sciences
Research Council and is open to all nationalities.
University College London (UCL) is situated in the heart of London
and is a major centre for Theoretical and Computational Chemistry.
The Clary group is lively and international, and the computational
facilities are excellent.
The successful applicant will have an appropriate undergraduate
degree in chemistry or physics and must be interested in quantum
mechanics. Those who are interested in this position should email a
curriculum vitae to Professor Clary (at [log in to unmask]) in the
first instance.
More information on the group and UCL can be obtained from the web site
