Below please find the advertisement of a post-doctoral position
currently available in Professor Rafael Arce's group at the University

A post-doctoral opening is immediately available in the area of the
photochemistry of atmospheric organic pollutants.
The project involves the study of the photochemical transformation
mechanisms of nitropolycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons adsorbed onto models
of atmospheric particulate matter in order to provide understanding of
the fate of these contaminants in the atmosphere. We are particularly
interested in understanding surface physical and chemical effects on the
photodegradation rates, identification of reactive intermediates and
products. Preference will be given to an individual who had experience
in UV-visible, fluorescence and HPLC methods.
Experience with time-resolved laser spectroscopic techniques would be
useful but not required. Candidates should send a CV and two letters of
