Greetings:
We would like to pump a dye laser with 532 nm from a Diode Pumped
Nd:YAG laser (Evolution X: energy ~ 10 mJ/pulse, Pulse Length ~ 120
nsec FWHM) and would to hear from anyone who has experience pumping a
dye laser with a laser source with similar specs.
We have a Lambda-Physik 3002 Dye laser. When they made this laser
(about 15 years ago), they had special oscillator cells (FL 46) with
a curved bottom that were to be used with Copper vapor laser pumping
(which has similar energy/pulse and even higher rep rate than our
diode pumped Nd:YAG). Lambda no longer supports this product (no
surprise there) and does not have any of the cells. I would
appreciate if someone could give me a source for these curved bottom
cells and anyone's experience with pumping a Lambda Dye laser with a
copper vapor laser.
Thanks in advance for your attention (and hopefully help)
Sincerely,
Kevin Lehmann
