Hi Everyone,
Does anyone have any information about this firm which made
colliery winding engines until about 1925. They are reputed to have
first operated from a works in Warmley, a few miles away. They do
not appear at all in George Watkins's records, not in the SER or in
any of his notes. I remember him telling me they were a complete
mystery to him.
Closing so recently I would have expected there might be something
about them, and maybe illustrations of their products, in trade
journals, such as the Colliery Guardian. Does anyone have any
information, please?
Regards
