Does not a Cornish Engine House mean a house for a Cornish Engine wherever
it exists? I'm tempted to cite the, Eccles Cake and Brussels Sprout
argument here - but not the Mars Bar - as being descriptive names for
something well understood. A Cornish Engine is well enough understood -
and a Cornish Engine House is merely something to protect a Cornish Engine
from the weather as well as providing a support for the bob. The fact that
its is in Spain, at the City Lead mine near Chester or in Cornwall should
make no difference - there's even some Cornish Engine houses in Devon!
Please let's not have more unnecessary definitions for the same thing.
Regards
John
