highlight the international nature of mining and the study of its history.
Despite the involvement of British capital and technology in Spain there is
little published in English on the subject. Rafael's recent paper 'A glimpse
of Spanish Mining's Golden Age' in British Mining 69 (2001), pp. 90-116,
goes some way towards rectifying the situation. So the answer to his PS is
Yes, as I for one have commented to Mike on the value of the article.
