We have rather strayed off the original subject area onto boles / bales.
Mike Gill did try to change the subject heading and I apologise for being
amongst those who, for one reason or another, continued with the old one.
Anyway - to get back to the original query. Many thanks to all those who
responded. I'll try and put together a collated reply to Tatanja at the
Idirija Mine but the replies did lack evidence on the documentation. The
reference to a court case where dead sheep were presented as evidence could
provide a lead to the documentation - I can put my finger on the Mendip
case, re. Ennor and the paper mills but that is pollution rather than
ecological damage. Could I echo Sallie's request for chapter and verse on
the eco. case referred to in the SMRG journal.
