I always remember my then boss, an authority on the plants so
magnificently preserved in coal-balls, (or as Clive informs me
'bobbers' to the local miners), he once gave a lecture on the subject
to an erudite audience.
To his horror he found the lecture was entitled, "J. Cutner on his
collection of Cold Balls and their Preparation".!
