If i remember correctly this does cover the area towards Kippax. Kippax is
right on the edge of the concealed coalfield and as well as coal mining
there were some Greensand mines. This sand which was mined along a belt
running from Garforth to Pontefract was used as moulding sand in iron
foundrys.
