Deborah, in addition to all the usual books and papers, can I recommend
'Disembodying Women' by Barbara Duden which although written in 1993 is a
feminist critique, beautifully written, on perspectives on pregnancy and the
unborn. Actually, I'd recommend it to anyone on the list, it's a marvellous
book.
