You, or perhaps a colleague, student or other professional contact may be
interested in the following opportunity. Please pass on this message as

The PPP Foundation is inviting applications for its nursing and allied
health professions research training fellowships. These awards present
opportunities to work in research environments (within the UK and abroad),
which are outside the recipients' own professional groups and are
demonstrably centres of excellence in their chose area of study.
Fellowships generally last for 3 years. Applicants must be registered in
the UK as nurse, midwife or health visitor, or as an allied health
professional, and have either 5 years post-registration experience or, (in
exceptional circumstances), a range of alternative expertise. They must
have a PhD or Masters degree by Sept 2003, with additional research
experience and evidence of the ability to relate academics study to
practice, policy and strategy. They must also have the support of the host
institution before applying.
