After having suspended my mail during the Christmas holiday I have now
resumed my membership on the list. I am uncertain as to whether I wrote a
personal introduction the first time I joined, so will do so now.
My name is Linda Kvist. I am a Brittish citizen but have been resident in
Sweden for half of my life. I trained as a midwife at the Jessop Hospital in
Sheffield in 1974 -75.
I gained an MScN (unfortunately in Sweden midwives must use this
denomination) at Lunds University in 1998. I work as care development
midwife at one of the few trust hospitals in Sweden - Hospital of
Helsingborg. I have worked on delivery siute, early discharge unit,
alternative post-natal care and breast-feeding clinic.
Although not strictly a doctoral student I am engaged in research and my
area of interest is inflammatory symptoms of the breast during lactation.
Greetings,
Linda Kvist.
