Dear Members,
We are currently in the process of exploring outcomes following a BBA.
During discussions we have discovered that the term BBA has many
interpretations e.g. Born before arrival at hospital; Born before arrival of
suitable birth attendant; Born before arrival within hospital grounds; Born
before arrival on the Delivery Suite.
Could anyone offer the correct interpretation. This is quite an important
issue when the outcomes of a BBA are believed to be poorer than hospital
births especially when there is confusion surrounding the definition.
Thanks
Angela O'Brien
