This is the first journal article listing of 2002, the thirty-fifth overall.
The last listing was back in August 2001, so this one is rather large. (This
was mostly because I gave up my job in Manchester and moved south, where I
am doing some lecturing, some writing and more than some baby-minding...)
Also, the listing contains a few journals (eg Osiris) that I've missed for a
while and am only now catching up on. East Asian Science, Technology and
Medicine is the new name for the old Chinese Science, included in previous
listings. Most promising article, on title alone, is D.A.H. Wilson's on
Admiralty scientists links with the music hall in 1916. Also, in passing,
Minerva looks like it is undergoing something of a renaissance.

As ever, I am very grateful to Sonia Hollins (Whipple Library, Cambridge)
and John Moffett (Needham Library, Cambridge) for their help in putting the
