Dear all,
I though I would take the opportunity to update you on the Groups recent introduction of Membership charges and to remind you of the date by which all subscriptions should be received.
To date, more than 70 of you have renewed their membership under the new rules - you know who you are, and thank you very much. Some of you will have, by now, received your membership number, whilst others will have received an invoice or are waiting for one. Apologies if there is some delay with invoices - I only work on MCG matters at the w/e and process applications "in batches".
For the rest of you who are considering membership, please note that applications should be sent to me in good time for the 1st April - the official start date of annual membership. If you need an application form, this is obtainable from the Group's Web site (address below) and is available in both Word or PDF format.
Information about the Group's next meeting in Stoke will be posted out shortly (some information is already available on the Web site). You will need a Membership Number in order to register for the meeting although it may be possible to "pay on the day". I would prefer, however, that your membership is in place and paid in full before the meeting as not only will this cut down on my "admin" time, but should cut down the registration time in Stoke.
Can I also remind you that it was agreed at the AGM last year that only Individual membership would be available this year and that we would review this at a later date to possibly include Corporate or Group membership. Essentially, this means that I can only register a "named" individual as a member and if more than one person from the same institution wishes to register, this has to be done on a separate application form with the appropriate fee.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions relating to Membership. If you have any questions regarding the Stoke meeting, please address these to Sue Gordon ([log in to unmask]).
Many thanks for your continued support.
Regards,
Stuart
