Resource Senior ICT Adviser to give presentation at EVA2002 conference
David Dawson, Resource's Senior ICT Adviser is to give a presentation on 'Creating Content Together - Combining National and European Initiatives' at the forthcoming Electronic Imaging & Visual Arts (EVA) event to be held at the Victoria & Albert Museum and Imperial College.
EVA2002 is an internation forum, bringing together users, suppliers, researchers and the Govenment to discuss new developments in electronic imaging. Similar fora are being held this year in Beijing, Berlin, Kiev and Florence.
In his position as UK Coordinator for the European Concordat on National Content Creation Initiatives, David has a wealth of expertise on current developments in digitisation and delivering visual images on the web. His presentation on July 25th at Imperial College will be part of a series of workshops, debates and seminars aimed at providing information about the cutting edge of digital imaging, as well as sharing the expertise and experiences of those involved in digitisation work.
The conference is split into two sections:
Section 1: Victoria & Albert Museum
Date: 22-24th and 27-29th July
Symposia, seminars, tutorials and workshops on various aspects of digital imaging
Section 2: Imperial College
Date: 25-26th July

- Experimental applications
- Advanced research & development
* There will also be a special half-day workshop from the European Commission on 'Advanced Methods in Imaging Practice'.
