The East Midlands Oral History Archive is currently previewing it's new catalogue at http://www.le.ac.uk/emoha/catalogue.html. EMOHA would appreciate any views on the catalogue (both positive and negative) from members of the Museums Computer Group.
The catalogue currently allows users to search 202 oral history recordings mainly drawn from the Mantle Collection. The Mantle Collection focuses on the life and work of people living in and around Coalville. It is therefore particular strong on memories of the mining industry. More information about the Mantle Collection is available at http://www.le.ac.uk/emoha/catalogue/mantle.html.
The East Midlands Oral History Archive catalogue is a major new resource for researchers of twentieth century history and beyond. Records detailing new recordings will be added every fortnight and will include material from a large variety of different collections as well as newly recorded interviews.
