PEOPLE SKILLS FOR KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT
CILIP workshop, 29 January 2003, London
Has your organisation developed a knowledge management strategy? Are you
part of it? Have you been asked to contribute to the overall KM activity in
the organisation or are you trying to initiate this yourself?
If so, do you see this as an opportunity or a hugely daunting task? And do
you have the right skills to contribute effectively?
BENEFITS FROM ATTENDING
This workshop is designed to help you consider the skills you need to play
an effective role in the knowledge management activities within your
organisation.
BY THE END OF THE EVENT PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE:
* appreciation of the range of skills needed in KM
* understanding of how to evaluate the culture of an organisation
* techniques to overcome barriers to success
* a tool-kit to use for different stages of the KM process
* better knowledge of how to market themselves
* tactics for selling their skills
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This workshop is aimed at people in the early stages of implementing their
organisation's KM strategy and need to recognise the key skills that will
