The next meeting will be held in the Social Hall of the Ismaili Centre at
1 Cromwell Gardens, London SW& 2SL (N.B. across the road from the Victoria
and Albert Museum and NOT at the Institute for Ismaili Studies)
on Monday 16th December 2002
The business meeting will be preceded at 12 noon by the 3rd Pearson Lecture
to be delivered by Geoffrey Roper with the title Bibliography and the social
history of Middle Eastern Texts.

The Social Hall of the Ismaili Centre has been booked from 11.30 when coffee
and tea will be served. The Lecture will be at 12 noon and for those MELCOM
members staying for the business meeting only, a finger buffet will be
served at about 1.20 with the meeting scheduled at 2.15.
Tea will be served at 4 and a tour of the Centre has been arranged for 4.15.
The Ismaili Centre is just round the corner from the South Kensington
underground
Station (District, Circle and Piccadilly lines) Buses include 14, 49, 74,
345 and C1.
