I agree with what Dave Guest says here. A lot of my, shall we say, "less sophisticated" users found the ENB database was excellent. It seemed to have all the current buzz words like "reflective practice" etc which change every few months and which are therefore harder to find on Cinahl.
Plus the journals indexed nearly all tended to be ones which are easily available - from my library, anyway. A lot of student nurses on placement don't have the time, money or inclination to go to great lengths to obtain articles from here, there and everywhere.
Yes, ENB will be missed.

Jim,
I agree that it was not a great database and other databases offer better
indexing and search tools but for some of our first year students it proved an
ideal introduction to database use. Many of whom progressed to CINAHL when they
were convinced of the benefits of using online sources.
A point I do not think you have considered is what about those nurses etc who
work in the private sector or doctors surgeries. Unless they have access to
"pay for" sources they are now out on a limb.
Any resource that is withdrawn is a loss.
