Dear LIS-MEDICAL Colleagues
The new CLIN-LIB mailing list is now in existence and awaiting members! As we stated in our preliminary e-mail last week, the Clinical Librarian mailing list is proposed as a forum for the dissemination of information about and discussion between librarians who work directly with clinicians in the clinical environment. It is aimed at Clinical Librarians (and those with similar roles but different job titles!), who are usually based either in teaching hospital libraries (HE Institutions) or NHS libraries. We are hoping it may develop internationally.
A short description is available at:
http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/docs/newlists-web.htm
To join the list, please visit:

and follow the on-screen instructions.
We hope the CLIN-LIB list will host fruitful discussions and provide a forum for professional support and the exchange of interesting ideas. Please let your colleagues who are not LIS-MEDICAL members, but may be interested in CLIN-LIB, know of its existence.
Regards,
