Apologies for crossposting
Have you used the TIS service (see http://www.tis.bl.uk/)? If so, or you
have had feedback from your readers/users who have, please consider giving
some feedback?
I attach the message re this which has just gone out to the telemedicine
discussion list (part of the TIS).
Please send replies to Colin Gordon (or myself if its easier, and I will
forward them to him). The first meeting to discuss this is on Thursday, but
it is an ongoing process.
Thanks!
Fiona
Dear list members
The NHS Information Policy Unit has commissioned the National electronic
Library of Health to conduct a review of the Telemedicine Information
Service (TIS). A study is now being conducted for us by IT Perspectives and
its findings are intended to guide the future commissioning of telemedicine
information services for the NHS.
It would be most helpful to us if you would be willing to send me your
impressions and views regarding TIS. Replies will be treated in confidence.
What we would especially like to know is:
Have you found TIS a useful service?
Have you been successful in searching the TIS database for information on
telemedicine?
Have you found the database to be complete and up to date?
Are there any changes and enhancements (including changes of organization,
scope or focus) you would like to see made to TIS?
Please could you send responses to me at [log in to unmask]
Many thanks.
