Dear All
This is a second attempt to send to lis-medical. The first attempt came
back unprocessed. Apologies for cross posting - I have (successfully) sent
it to lis-nursing.
We have a student interested in systematic reviews in midwifery, but
relating to developing countries.
We have found a review of her subject in Cochrane, but it specifically
states it relates only to developed countries. We found some clinical
trials of the subject in Medline, relating to developing countries, but no
systematic reviews.
This leads me to ask if anyone knows of any databases which are good for
health related issues in the two-thirds world? We know of Healthlink and
of INASP's African Journals Online, but would like to hear of anything
which anyone has found useful, for journal articles or for systematic
reviews.
Please reply direct to me. I will summarise for the lists in due course.
Many thanks, and best wishes from a sunny Aberdeen,
Keith Nockels
