* Would you like to improve your own information services to health
managers?
* Are you keen to provide value-added services that enhance your
profile?
* Do you want to improve your own skills in synthesising and summarising
information?
* Have you identified a “knowledge gap” with regard to your own
awareness of management resources?
If so, then this free workshop, to be held at two venues (London and
Sheffield) in the first half of this year, is for you. Delivered by
experienced information professionals involved in information provision
and training for managers and, specifically, in the creation of the NeLH
Virtual Branch Library for Health Management, this course will provide
essential skills and knowledge to new and experienced information
professionals alike. You will acquire generic skills to support your
current role, together with specific skills to enable you to contribute
to the management knowledge base.
This course, which is open to all (with a maximum of 20 places on each
course), will be particularly of value to:
* those planning to write a management digest for the NeLH Virtual
Branch Library for Health Management
* those currently undergoing organisational change with the creation of
strategic health authorities.
