Initially 2 year fixed term Contract

Approx 35-40K depending on experience
Likely to be based at the Lead Confederation Offices (Trent Workforce Confederation is located at either Junction 29 or Junction 25 of the M1)
alternative location considered at a Workforce Confederation or other NHS office subject to agreement
A project manager is required to implement a scheme for purchasing Electronic Knowledge Resources at a National level on behalf of the 27 NHS workforce Confederations.
The project will aim to ensure equitable access to a core set of electronic resources for all staff involved in the delivery of health and social care and to ensure best value for the NHS.
The successful candidate will be supported by the NHS Workforce Confederations, NHS Librarians, NHS Regional Librarians Group, National Electronic Library for Health and the NHS Purchasing and Supplies Agency to develop a project plan to carry out a procurement exercise for the resources and to work with the successful supplier(s) to implement solutions for accessing the resources.
Ideally the successful candidate would have experience of managing complex projects and an understanding of the NHS technical and library environments.
