Hello all

NeLH AWARENESS WEEK 25 NOVEMBER - 1 DECEMBER 2002

Celebrate NeLH's 2nd Birthday by joining in with our Awareness Week
events. We're running 3 competitions including one just for librarians.

CALLING ALL LIBRARIANS - WIN £150 HOLIDAY VOUCHERS WITH THE MIDIRS/NeLH
SLOGAN COMPETITION
If you are a health librarian based in the UK, we are asking you to write
a catchy slogan for the NeLH, which we can use in future promotions and
publicity. The slogan should be no more than 10 words long and should
capture the essence of the NeLH. The judges will be looking for the most
creative, memorable and versatile slogan. Runner-up prizes may be awarded,
if deemed appropriate by the judges. There is no limit to the number of
times you enter.

AND FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS .... WIN PRIMAL PICTURES ANATOMY SOFTWARE BY
ENTERING THE NeLH TREASURE HUNT
Health professionals can win a copy of Primal Pictures' award-winning
software by entering our treasure hunt competition. They simply need to
find the answers to 10 questions, hidden somewhere within NeLH. This will
help them to see the breadth of resources now available via NeLH. Why not
introduce this competition into your training sessions next week?

FOR EVERYONE...
WIN A PALM PILOT BY TELLING COLLEAGUES ABOUT NeLH (SPONSORED BY BMJ
PUBLICATIONS CLINICAL EVIDENCE)
This competition offers the chance to win a handheld computer simply by
pledging to help promote the NeLH which provides access to Clinical
Evidence and 70 other resources. All you have to do is tell at least 5
people about this competition and about the NeLH.

If you want to promote these competitions locally, vist our publicity page
(www.nelh.nhs.uk/publicity) to order your Awareness Week materials.

To find out more about the competitions, to read the entry rules, and to
enter the competitions, visit our Awareness Week page at
www.nelh.nhs.uk/awareness.

NeLH would like to thank our sponsors for these competitions :
BMJ Publications' Clinical Evidence; MIDIRS; and Primal Pictures

Regards,
Alison
