I've had a query from someone with a social services background who is
getting involved in an academic research project about the issues involved
in providing interdisciplinary education for health professionals
(undergraduate), particularly nursing/medicine.
I'm doing a bit of rummaging around for specific references (and intrigued
how often 'interdisciplinary' is used in references just to refer to
different types of doctors!) Tho if any of you have specific comments about
issues which have arisen in providing or planning such training, I would be
v happy to pass them on.
But my problem is that she also needs a couple of articles which would
provide a good brief introduction to the current general UK situation in
nursing or medical (or other health profs) undergraduate education, and the
current issues. I havent found anything like this- I can find lots of
articles, but about particular aspects rather than overviews.
Any suggestions v welcome.
Thanks!
