Subject: Access to databases-formerly-accessed-through-HCN
In Cambridgeshire we are currently experiencing difficulties with the
SilverPlatter databases we used to access through HCN (BNIplus, HMIC,
ASSIA) using Athens usernames and passwords, now provided by OVID. Those
of us on NHSnet sites are currently unable to gain access to the computer
where these databases are now hosted, though academic sites are able to
search them. We wondered if this is a problem for any other groups of
librarians? If so, please could you let me know?
Thanks
