Library Information Worker

3 year Limited Term Contract
To co-ordinate, develop and maintain a unique collection of historical
and contemporary guidance related resources to be housed within the
University of Derby. This position has arisen as a result of a
partnership between the Centre for Guidance Studies (CeGS) and the
Institute for Careers Guidance (ICG). This will involve providing a full
range of library services and resources for end users as well as
contributing to the development of the CeGS website and co-ordinating
CeGS publications.
Applicants should have a recognised Library qualification, ideally
experienced in an academic library, a detailed knowledge of database
design and maintenance, internet and www technology. The ability to work
in a team, respond positively to individual and organisations'
enquiries, and to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
