Library Services is implementing a University-wide agreed
new management structure. Under the new challenging
environment the following senior post has been created.
Support Services Manager

Salary £30,997 - £36,483 p.a. including London Weighting
Applications are invited for the post of Support Services
Manager. The post requires a qualified Librarian with
good technical grasp and substantial experience in
providing support services within a large library service
environment. A key requirement is to develop further
the electronic information service provision by taking a
pro-active approach in developing the required support
services. A good knowledge of the use and economics of
electronic information is required.
Experience of managing staff and projects and good
communications are key qualities for the job. You will be
expected to offer experience in many of the activities within
the portfolio of the job including excellent knowledge of
electronic services, acquisitions of stock, cataloguing and
experience of IT, as applied in Library Services.
