Dear Les and Colin,
Speaking with my CIGS committee member hat on, I'm sure that CIGS could be
persuaded to organise this sort of training.
We discussed our future programme for 2003 at a committee meeting last week
and we are always keen to get suggestions which meet the real day to day
needs of our membership. We will certainly include this suggestion in our
planning.
I thought that I should also mention the Classification Web product from
the Library of Congress. We use it at St Andrews because we have LC
classification but it also provides LCSH online and we find it invaluable.
If you want more info. then let me know.
Best wishes
Janet
