Dear All,
Here at Loughborough University library we are thinking of utilising a
computer / web based information skills package.
We have had a look at all the HE library web sites and found there are
quite a few packages being utilised. All seem to have some benefits. We
are now trying to decide whether to go ahead.
To help us decide the way forward we would like to ascertain how well used
such packages are. I was hoping that those institutions who have such
packages would not mind answering a brief questionnaire - it should not
take more than 10 minutes.

If yes:
How long did the development take?
How many staff were involved in the development?
What type of staff (Librarians, programmers etc?)
If no, who developed it for you?
2. How long have you had the package?
3. Do you update it on a regular basis and who is responsible for this?
4. How is the package used?
For example is it embeded into a module, used with face to face teaching or
a stand alone / voluntary package?
5. Does the package include assessment and is this added to the students
record?
6. Do you have figures on how often it is used?
If yes, what is the average take up per year?
7. Any comment you would like to add?
