Dear Emma,
I'm not sure if you're thinking of a specific system when you ask about
electronic delivery of interloans but have you heard of Ariel software?
Ariel has been used around the world for over a decade - it is widely used
in UK academic libraries.
Basically Ariel is a Windows based system which enables high quality
document transmission over the internet.
The UK distributuon of Ariel is organised by MIMAS, and I am the Ariel
support officer at MIMAS. If you would like more information please see
http://rlg.mimas.ac.uk. Ariel is owned and developed by RLG, a not for
profit organisation in the USA - further details about Ariel can be found
from their website at http://www.rlg.org/ariel/index.html.
Kind Regards,

Subject: electronic interloans
Dear all,
We are interested in finding out about the electronic delivery of
interloans. Does anybody out there use this system? If so please
could you let us know what it is, how it works and your opinion of it
as a service.
Thank-you
