Hi there margaret,
Good to hear from you. Just to add to the beginning of term frisson
of excitement - we are having all of the carpet on the top floor of the
Library being replacewd during the first week of term - what
immaculate timing! Also, our new computer room is still being
kitted out despite there being bookings in this room from
Wednesday. And we are having the Library recabled for ther new
network as I speak. HELP!!!!!!
Yes, the MBA starts this week - all part of the strategic plan for
getting me back to Liverpool as Librarian (afer FT has gor the
money for the new SJL extension - all I have to do is plan the new
Library. I think the Librarian should have a rooftop suite of ofices
with a fine panoramic view of the mersey (and with a telescope so
he can keep an eyes on HCL!)
I'm looking forward to starting my course although it will be hard
work! Jacquie is running in the Great North Run (can I ask you to
sponsor her for £2) and is training hard.
Talk soon
Jon
